ESKAPO is a five piece filipino from vallejo, California they play hardcore punk mainly influenced from oldskool like Negative Aproach ,Black Flag, and Minor Threat, The word Eskapo means "refugee" and was a symbol of defiance during Ferdinand's Marcos's dicatorship over the Philippine islands for over 20 years. The lyrics mainly tackled about strongly politics, freedom, individual rights and other important issue. most of the lyrics written in "Tagalog". this is awesome shit from a 3rd world raw hardcore punk. enjoi.
